This is a fitted beanie with a simple cable pattern knitted in a chunky wool in a classic style . You would have enough wool to extend the ribbed band into a turned up band if desired. This pattern commemorates a beanie seen in a famous Australian film that takes a bus trip.

Size: Fits head sizes 54-58cm

Requirements:

• BWM Classic 12ply, 1x 200g ball
• 3.75mm circular needle, 60cm long (band)
• 3.75mm circular needle, 40cm long
• cable needle, yarn needle
• stitch marker
• scissors

Tension: approx 25 sts and 25 rows over 10cm in garter stitch; 20 sts and 20 rows over 10cm in ribbing
