A two-piece set for babies including a nappy cover/pants and a cardigan. The cardigan is knitted in one piece, from the top down, no seaming required. The pants are knitted in two pieces which requires a little seaming, and stitches are picked up for the leg bands.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

BWM 8ply Cotton

One pair 3.5mm (US 4) needles

One pair 3.75mm (US 5 | UK 9) long straight needles or circular needles

Stitch holders | 1 x button | 10 stitch markers

60cm elastic 12mm wide, or ribbon long enough to go around waist and tie in a bow (if not using elastic)

TENSION 22 stitches x 30 rows over 10cm (4 in) square, worked in stockinette stitch on 3.75 mm (US 5 | UK 9) needles.
