This knitted scarf has a 60’s vibe! The lace pattern is easy to remember with a two row repeat, and is great for advanced beginners onwards.
The pattern is written with two different types of yarn in mind, therefore it can be made time & time again from various yarns and needles to suit.
Samples are shown in Bendigo Woollen Mills 12 ply Classic on 6mm needles (in Seaquest 732) AND Chunky Twist 14 ply on 7mm needles (in Mint Dove Twist 2385).
Requirements:
12ply
Measurements: 192cm x 22cm, requires 2 x 12ply Classic 200g balls and 6mm straight needles, yarn needle and stitch marker. A short cable needle is optional.
14ply
Measurements: 186cm x 23cm, requires 6x 14ply Chunky Twist 50g balls and 7mm straight needles, yarn needle and stitch marker. A short cable needle is optional.
Tension: is not crucial for this pattern, however adjust your needle size as needed to get dimensions of finished piece as shown in pattern instructions.
