This stylish sweater is both practical and classic and would be suitable for everyday wear. The sweater is worked top down (no seaming). Yoke section is worked in reversed stocking stitch and the remainder is worked in st st striped pattern. Sleeve cuffs are worked in a simple 2 colour st st pattern.

SKILL LEVEL Intermediate

MATERIALS REQUIRED BWM Classic 8ply, 2 balls (1 MC, 1 CC; see below)

3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles, 40 cm (16 in)
4 mm (US 6 : UK 8) circular needles, 40 cm (16 in) and 60 cm (24 in) long
One set of double pointed 3.5 mm (US 4) needles
One set of double pointed 4 mm (US 6 : UK 8) needles
4 stitch markers, 1 to be in a contrast colour
Darning needle to sew in ends
