This sweater is knitted from the bottom up in one piece to the underarms, with a simple fair isle pattern. The yoke is knitted in a simple 2 x 2 Rib pattern. This design has slightly dropped shoulders with a boat neckline.

The sleeves are worked in st st, with a 2 x 2 rib band. Some seaming is required to finish the sleeves and fit them to the armholes. This would also make a great vest, as the armholes are finished during knitting, so there is no need to pick up stitches for sleeves later.

Instructions to knit a matching beanie are included with this pattern.

MATERIALS REQUIRED BWM Luxury 8ply (200g) x 1-2 balls MC, 1 ball CC (see below)

4 mm [US 6 : UK 8] circular needles, 40 cm (16 in) ; you may also require 61 cm (24 in) length for larger sizes
Set of 4 mm [US 6 : UK 8] double pointed needles
Set of 3.5 mm [US 4] double pointed needles

3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles; you may also require 61 cm (24 in) length for larger sizes
Pair of 3.5 mm [US 4] straight needles.
Pair of 4 mm [US 6 : UK 8] straight needles.

3 stitch markers plus 1 distinguishable marker.
3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles 40 cm (16 in)
3.5 mm (US4) circular needles 60 cm (24 in)

*PLEASE NOTE: If you are a tight knitter may need 4.5 mm [US 7 : UK 7] circular needles, 40 cm (16 in) for smaller sizes and 61 cm (24 in) length for larger sizes. AND a set of double pointed needles in this size.
