PT 8617 Child's Tee with Circular Yoke - Knitting Pattern
A satisfying knit for kids, with a circular yoke worked in the round for a perfect fit.
Construction
Knit in pieces from the bottom up, then joined. Short rows and raglan decreases are used to start the yoke and sleeve shaping, with the final sections joined to knit the yoke and neckband in the round. Primarily in stocking stitch, with rib at band and cuff.
Tension
22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 3.75mm needles
Suitable Yarns
Most Bendigo Woollen Mills 8 ply yarns would suit this pattern. (Equivalent yarns: DK or Light Worsted).
Accessories
3.75 and 4.50mm pair & 3.75 and 4.50 long circular needles (for Yoke and Neckband), 4 stitch-holders
