The Nova Blanket Eyelet Basketweave Throw - Knitting Pattern | PT 8671
This blanket knitting pattern features a basketweave texture with breezy eyelets that make it perfect for Spring/Summer home decor. With three sizes, it's great for babies, kids or adults. Worked on a single long circular needle, this is a satisfying knit that you'll want to make over and over.
We have named these patterns for inspiring Australian women.
Construction
Knit flat on one long circular needle.
Tension
23 sts and 34 rows to 10cm over pattern using 5.00mm needles. Correct tension is not essential for this throw.
Suitable Yarns
This is knitted on larger needles than normally recommended for this yarn, so if you want to retain the blanket shape, it will not be suitable for all 8 ply yarns, especially Cotton. This is because it may stretch and lose its shape over time when knitted in other yarns on that needle size.
Accessories
A long 5.00mm circular knitting needle, or size needle to give correct tension.
Difficulty Level (1 easy - 5 challenging)
2 out of 5 sheep
Techniques you'll be employing - slipping stitches (sl), passing slipped stitches over (psso), yarn forwards (yfwd).
