An open-front vest with a relaxed shawl collar, comfortable and versatile for all year round.
Construction
Knit in pieces from the bottom up, then seamed. Stitches are picked up to knit armhole bands in the round. Stitches are picked up to knit collar and front bands, with wrap & turn for shaping.
Tension
22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 4.00mm needles.
Suitable Yarns
Green sample shown in Rustic Tweed 8 ply Evergreen. This pattern is written for any of our 8 ply wool yarns like Luxury 8 ply or Whisper 8 ply. (Equivalent yarns: DK or Light Worsted).
Accessories
1 pair of 4.00mm knitting needles and a 4.00mm long circular needle or size needles to give correct tension.
