Solstice Cardigan - Free Adult Knitting Pattern

The Solstice Cardigan is a free knitting pattern for adults designed especially for Solstice Cotton Yarn. Worked sideways with a contrast collar and cuffs, this plush cardigan in breathable 100% Cotton will become a wardrobe staple.

Construction

Worked sideways starting at sleeve cuff and sewn together at sides, and top and bottom of sleeves. Collar knitted onto each side and seamed at back neck. Worked flat using a long circular needle to accommodate large number of stitches.

Tension

20 sts and 28 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 4.50mm needles.  A tension square is essential for this garment.
