A versatile v-neck vest for adults, worked in the round and with a simple but stylish detail to each side.
Construction
Knit in the round from the bottom up to armholes (with a simple rib pattern at side of vest). From there, knitted flat and shoulders joined together in a 3 needle cast off/3 needle bind off. Shaping of V-Neck and armholes at the same time. Knitting up stitches around Neckline and Armholes.
Tension
22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 4.00mm needles.
Suitable Yarns
Shown in Classic 8 ply. This pattern is written for any of our 8 ply wool yarns like Luxury 8 ply or Whisper 8 ply. (Equivalent yarns: DK or Light Worsted).
Accessories
1 pair each 3.25mm and 4.00mm circular needles, or size needles to give correct tension, 6 stitch-holders.
