A fast-to-knit vest pattern in Elixir that's suitable for beginners and can be easily customised with a stripe detail. This vest is a cosy extra layer to constantly reach for in the cooler months, that you'll want to knit again and again!
Construction
Knit in the round from the bottom up until armholes, then front and back knit flat and then seamed at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up to knit neckband and armband in the round.
Tension
13 sts and 18 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 7.00mm needles. How to check and adjust your tension.
Suitable Yarns
Made for Elixir 16 ply.
Accessories
1 each 6.00mm and 7.00mm circular needle, or size needles to give correct tension, 2 stitch-holders.
