LIMITED EDITION:  Villa 8 Ply is a loosely spun classic roving yarn made from 100% wool. It is a single-thread yarn, and is not spun from multiple threads, meaning that Villa has a rustic structure that is reminiscent of a hand spun yarn with a natural variation in thickness. There are 7 great colours from bright to neutral, and some lovely tonal colours as well.

 Knitting and Crochet Notes:

This special single twist means that you should be extra careful when working with Villa to avoid breaking its airy, gently twisted structure. In particular, avoid the long tail or thumb cast on methods, as they can cause yarn breakage.

We also suggest using a plain plied yarn like Classic or Luxury when sewing seams, to provide extra strength. If using Villa for sewing, add an extra twist or two to the yarn every 10 or so stitches to prevent breakage.
